The field of education is highly rewarding. It presents the unique opportunity of having a direct impact on younger generations. What you teach, and how you teach will have important repercussions.
Schools and higher education institutions also require strong leadership and management. Administrators, deans, and faculty members are necessary for a school system to operate effectively.

Organization for the Adult Learner
I hear that organization and discipline are important for distance learning. I'm definitely disorganized and messy; will that affect my studies?
Disorganization will most likely hinder your success. On your computer, create folders for each course you are taking. Place all files associated with each course in the appropriate folders. This will enable you to sort and locate the files you need quickly.
Avoid a habit of saving files to your computer's desktop. Saving files to your desktop will slow down its speed and make it harder for you to find what you need. Make it a habit to keep your home office (or study area) tidy and organized, too.
