To Serve and Protect... |
|
Many
degrees in the social science category on eLearners are all about service to
your community and protecting others.
Homeland security, public safety, and criminal justice are about protecting life, preventing crime, enforcing laws,
and upholding citizens' rights.
Public administration is more about running governments without necessarily
being elected. Public administrators administer federal, state, county, town governments by planning, budgeting, finance, policy, engineering, and organization.
Are any of these social science degrees right for you?

Being a Healthy E-Learner |
|
We know how hard it seems to stay healthy during these winter months, especially with the constant changes in temperature. But there are many things you can do to ramp up that immune system and remain a healthy distance learner.
- Wash your hands regularly, and keep your fingers away from your eyes, mouth,
nose, etc!
- Consider taking a multivitamin or vitamin D supplements if you're in a cold
climate. Of course, consult your doctor beforehand.
- Don't skimp on sleep — your body relies on it! Getting adequate amounts of sleep supports
your immune system.
- Go offline every now and again! Giving your
brain a rest while you're awake is also important.
