Credits Earned via Distance Learning Won't Transfer to Other Schools
Whether credits will transfer is usually due to a school's accreditation. Credits from regionally accredited schools (as
opposed to nationally accredited) tend to transfer easily whether earned online or in
a classroom, but credit transfer is always left at the discretion of the receiving institution.

Not necessarily. Many schools charge the same tuition rate for their online programs as they do their on-campus programs, but there are some great "bargains" out there.

Accredited schools have to meet rigid education standards in order to stay accredited. The accrediting bodies hold online schools
to the same scrutiny as brick-and-mortar institutions.
