Just a Hundred Years Ago... |
Life
has changed a lot in the last 100 years. In the early 1900s, a
dentist made just around $2,500, the average wage in the US was 22 cents per hour,
and a typical US worker only made between $200 and $400 per year!
Now let's look at how education has evolved in just the last 60 or so years.
In 1947, only 5 percent of people had bachelor's degrees or higher. As of 2005, that figure had
climbed over 500 percent to 27.7 percent. Pretty cool, huh?
With fall semester right around the corner, why not join the movement to get that percentage to 30?

West Virginia University to earn her master's degree online in integrated marketing communications, or click here see marketing degrees at other levels.
