Science studies the world we live in, its composition, and its inhabitants with majors such as biology, chemistry, and physics. Science makes sense of the world in which we live. Engineering differs because it takes science, coupled with math, and applies it to real world problems. Engineers know how things work, which enables them to create solutions and improve efficiency.
