Online Student Profile: Barbara
Barb admits, online learning is "not for everyone," but this mother of three is a natural leader in her online classes.
She's working on her bachelor's degree in criminal justice at Colorado Technical University, thousands of miles from her Florida home. Her ultimate goal is a job with the Department of Homeland Security.
Though her college education was interrupted when she was diagnosed with melanoma and underwent chemotherapy, she's back on track to get that degree. Barbara is confident "Nothing in the world is going to stop me from getting my education."
