Abilene Christian University

The foundings of ACU began as far back as 1903, but it wasn't until 1976 that the school was officially named Abilene Christian University. ACU's home campus is located in Abilene, Texas. Part of their vision states "We believe people around the globe will benefit from a distinctive ACU education. Therefore, we will enthusiastically pursue avenues to take the university to the world—and to bring the world to ACU."
